An opportunity to take some quality time out for yourself at this auspicious time around summer solstice. Often, with the pace of modern life we forget to slow down and check in with ourselves and enjoy the present moment. On this afternoon I invite you into a gentle easy space at this beautiful yoga venue in the forest.
Here we will blend together some nourishing practices to really bring us into our bodies, connect with our hearts and regulate our nervous systems. This allows us to gently expand to become present to and receive the fullness of the joyful summer energy which is now at it’s peak. Summer solstice can also teach us to embrace duality, as this longest summer day also marks the beginning of the diminishing light as we slowly make our way towards the darker half of the year. There is beauty in all these seasons.

You will be guided through the following practices:
Yoga– Breath work, movement, and deeply restorative yoga
Meditation– Meditation to arrive and deeply restful Yoga Nidra.
Cacao Ceremony-A centuries old ritual. The cacao plant is used as a heart healing and opening medicine. It assists in energetic healing and bringing clarity. People report feeling softer, open and relaxed, and more loving. We will enjoy organic, rich, delicious and ethically sourced ceremonial cacao. It marries beautifully with our other practices of yoga and meditation.
Bring a blanket, eye pillow, cosy socks and anything you need for comfort.
This little studio is located in the forest, so feel free to schedule in some forest bathing before or after the event.
