A Winter’s Rest~ DayRetreat~ Sunday November 24th, 10.30am-5pm at Mornington House.

An invitation to take time out for you.  To retreat is essential to our well being.  And especially at this time of year when there is a deep need to hibernate.  In modern life it can be challenging to shift gears and slow down.   Often it’s not until we carve out this space, that we realize how much we needed it.  This is an opportunity to move out of daily life.  To slow down and listen more deeply to yourself.

Retreating is about gifting yourself an opportunity to  have space, rest, digest our experiences, and catch up with ourselves. It can help us at any time bust especially if  we feel under-resourced and disconnected from ourselves, our inner wisdom, and our joy.

On this day  you can nourish yourself with, yoga, meditation,  journaling, food and nature.  Learn practices which can become self care tools for you to bring into your daily life. A day like this really facilitates letting go and surrendering, as someone else is taking care of your needs, this leaves space for your body and mind let go, rest and heal. You will be guided through practices to bring you into stillness, to rest, rejuvenate and gently open and release tension physically, mentally and emotionally.

When we retreat, even for a short time, it enables us to gain new perspectives, unleash creativity and come back to life with more energy & clarity.

“Quiet your mind and you will hear whispers of Love emanating from your own soul”
