Rest, Restore & Reset ~ Time Out For You ~ Sun March 24th 2.30 – 4.30pm

By January 29, 2019October 28th, 2020No Comments

We will enjoy a  slow and relaxing yin and restorative yoga practice. We have long holds in poses supported with bolsters and props to ensure total comfort and ease, wrapped in cosy blankets. The practice will end with a lovely yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep!

At this point of Spring Equinox day and night are of equal length, but not for long.  It’s a good time to focus our intention  on balance. Often we neglect to balance our “doing vs being”  and our life’s  become out of balance.   This workshop offers an opportunity  to address this.  It  is a time out to connect with and nourish ourselfs.  An opportunity to come into stillness  so that you can hear your inner wisdom.  A chance to rest deeply, rejuvenate and gently open and release deep held tension from body and mind.

Physiologically this type of practice takes us out of sympathetic nervous system dominance (stress) into parasympathetic dominance (rest and digest), unless we do something to make this switch on a regular basis, we easily become overwhelmed and exhausted!

*In this workshop we will:

*Practice deep relaxation

*Retrain the nervous system

*Release muscular tension

*Become more mindful

*Learn to breath deeply for full health

*Tune into out bodies inate wisdom

Cost €25
