An Evening to Rest, Renew & Restore Yoga-6.30-8pm, Friday May 5th 2017

A chance to come out of “doing” and come into “being”.  It really serves us well to carve out stillness and rest in the busyness of modern life.  Each class is 1.5 hours allowing us lot’s of time to really let go, surrender and chill out.  Relaxation is something we must train the body to do; it is like a muscle that must be exercised.  Something we often forget to spend some time doing.  Physiologically this type of practice takes us out of sympathetic nervous system dominance (stress) into parasympathetic dominance (rest and digest),  unless we do something to make this switch on a regular basis, we easily become overwhelmed and exhausted!  I hope you can take time out for yourself to enjoy a full Restorative Yoga practice and a Yoga Nidra. (Guided Relaxation/Yogic Sleep!) With restorative yoga the body is totally supported by props, bolsters, blankets etc in each of the poses so that you are totally warm and comfortable, creating a sense of safety which  brings complete relaxation and letting go on all levels. We wrap up in blankets, pop on the eye pillows and chill out in the poses for up to 10 mins each  listening to really relaxing tunes and let the tension melt away. Bliss!

Cost: €20                                                  BOOKING ESSENTIAL.
