At solstice, we experience the longest day of the entire year. This was regarded as an auspicious time in the Celtic calendar. These points on the wheel of the year invite us to step out of the everyday and check in with ourselves and become more present.
Our yoga practice at this time can bring us into a more grounded, contemplative space and also help us be fully present to the summer light and energy!
The first part of our practice will involve breath work and meditation, asana, to energise and move tightness and stagnation out. And the last part will be deeply relaxing restorative practice, encouraging deep rest and melting away of tension.

A 2 hour Yoga practice can be a great introduction if you are a beginner OR a chance to deepen the practice if you already attend classes.
