At this time we are drawing deep into winter, a time when all the ancient wisdom traditions encourage deep rest and slowing down in order to enjoy good health and emerge into spring refreshed. This can be challenging at this time, as life tends to get busy with holiday celebrations and to do lists! These class offer you the opportunity to pause, and care for yourself. This workshop is on the day of Winter Solstice, the darkest day, the pinnacle of winter, it was widely celebrated in the past as it reminds us that the day’s now begin to get brighter, and that even in the darkest moments, there is brightness ahead, even when we can’t see it. This will be our theme on the evening.
We will enjoy a slow and deep practice by candlelight to unwind mind and body and bring a sense of grounding and connection. E An opportunity to let go of stress and tension and enjoy deep relaxation and to come into stillness. . We have long restorative yoga practice and end with yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep! My wish for you is that you will leave feeling peaceful and energised & more connected to your own wisdom.
