Embracing Summer with Yoga – Saturday May 23rd, 1-3pm.

By May 18, 2015October 28th, 2020No Comments

Earlier this month Bealtaine announced the turning of the Celtic Wheel of the Year into Summer. Between now and Summer Solstice (June 21st), the day’s get longer and the energy of Summer builds and then begins to recede again from solstice onward.  This practice is one to bring us into the fullness of the present moment, a chance to pause, acknowledge where you are, and attune to the expressive, expansive light, playful and creative energies of summer time.  We will use our Yoga, Pranayama as a ritual to celebrate summer.  We will combine Hatha and Restorative Yoga to create a very balanced practice. You will have an opportunity to move mindfully, stretch deeply to experience lightness and space on the physical level, and also deep rest and letting do on all levels with out Restorative practice, where we come into stillness  aided by props.

Cost: €20 per workshop.

Venue: Phoenix Yoga Studio, Market Point Medical Park, Mullingar, Co, Westmeath

A 2 hour Yoga practice can be a great introduction if you are a beginner OR a chance to deepen the practice if you already attend classes.
